**MUSIC FOR SEL AND BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT - A 3-WEEK WORKSHOP**

**Course Prerequisite: Total Beginner Uke or Above**

This implementation course is open to anyone who has taken a Total Beginner Uke course or above. Tap into the power of music to help your students develop and exercise greater social and emotional awareness and utilize helpful SEL strategies throughout school day and beyond. This course will be taught by GITC faculty trainer, Reagan Duncan, recipient of National University’s Teacher of the Year Award for Social Emotional Learning for the Western 9-state region! Reagan will introduce a musical approach to working effectively with students using Sanford Harmony’s Zones of Regulation curriculum supported by songs, songwriting, and collaborative musical activities that boost student self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and more!

All classes in this series will be taught from 4:00 - 5:30 pm PT / 5:00 - 6:30 pm MT / 6:00 - 7:30 pm CT / 7:00 - 8:30 pm ET.
