Nurturing Social Emotional Learning in the Classroom Through Music with Reagan Duncan
Course Prerequisite: Total Beginner Uke or Total Beginner Guitar
This implementation course is open to anyone who has taken a Total Beginner course or above. Tap into the power of music to help your students develop and exercise greater social and emotional awareness and utilize helpful SEL strategies throughout the school day and beyond. You will be introduced to a musical approach to working effectively with students using Sanford Harmony curriculum and Zones of Regulation, supported by songs, songwriting, and collaborative musical activities that boost student self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and more!
All classes in this series will be taught from 10-11am PT / 11am-12pm MT / 12-1pm CT / 1-2pm ET.
