LEVEL ONE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION IN ECE MUSIC LEADERSHIP

6 hours Synchronous, 2 hours asynchronous

Registering for this level of training means you are committing to a total 6 hours of in-person intensive training in ECE Music Leadership. In addition to 6 hours of training in one location, completion requires each participant to lead two or more musical experiences with young children between the first 3 hours and the second 3 hours, and then to answer questions about that experience online.

LEVEL TWO TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION IN ECE MUSIC LEADERSHIP

16 hours: 6 hours Synchronous in person, 8 hours virtual, 2 hours asynchronous.

Registering for this level of training means you are committing to a total 16 hours of training in ECE Music Leadership. The in-person portion of your training happens at the location listed.

Between the date you begin and complete your in person training, you can also earn an additional 8 hours of training by taking a free virtual 8-week Total Beginner Ukulele course for ECE with GITC. This virtual class meets once a week for one hour. Participating will help you gain experience and confidence playing ukes, singing, and leading music with children.

Completion of this 16 hour course requires each participant to lead two or more musical experiences with young children, and then to answer questions about that experience online.

Every participant who completes either the 8 hour course or the 16 hour course will receive a Certificate of Achievement from GITC, regardless of whether or not they choose to earn any CEUs, if CEUs are approved. If you do not choose to earn units, you will still receive our certificate of completion.

During your training with GITC, everyone will learn to play and facilitate music making with:
